Published on June 25, 2020
3 weeks. 10 rounds of auctions. 30 pieces of art.
Final tally: $82,175.
All of it going to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
Eighty two thousand one hundred seventy five dollars.
Wow.
We far exceeded our goals when we set out to fundraise with these auctions. And that's due to the incredibly generous support of collectors and fans. From all of us at Felix Comic Art, thank you.
This was a collective effort by everyone: Artists, collectors, fans, supporters. To have a chance to do some good, especially during this period in history, feels great. We hope you feel great, too. Thank you for helping us achieve our proudest moment as a group.
We finished strong, with Nick Derington's BATMAN: YEAR ONE homage netting $5000, and Tradd Moore's Peter Parker/Miles Morales Spider-Man set closing at an astonishing $12000! Click this link to see all the art, as well as the individual results:

We've devoted the last month to doing our bit, and we are already planning another similar event in 2021. We will let everyone know as things take shape. For now, if anyone wants to talk about this, or anything else related to comic art, come join our chat...we're live!:
