Happy Holidays and Thank You from Felix Comic Art/The Lu Family Fund!

As we wind down the year, I want to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to our cause these last few months. In that short time, The Lu Family Fund has become the largest single contributor to Paltown.org in their entire history. Everyone on the list below...take a bow! I salute you and thank you.
When making donations to charities, we all hope for the best, but we never really know how our money will be spent. So I want to assure everyone that your gift will be going directly to patients in helping them seek specialized care (primarily at an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center). I will be part of the committee dispersing the funds. It's all very public and transparent, as the beneficiaries are all patient members of the Paltown community.
A key idea behind The Lu Family Fund is that if we can help 100 patients get a second opinion that leads to aggressive treatment that they otherwise would not have gotten, then we know that statistically a percentage will achieve NED (no evidence of disease). And that a percentage of those will eventually be considered cured. So we will have played a direct role in saving lives, and preserving families. No matter what, anything over 0 is a win. Because 0 is pretty much what we're looking at if these patients only receive basic standard of care treatment.
Comic art collectors have been crucial to our fundraising efforts. From our art auctions to our special edition podcast, SECRET STORIES OF COMIC ART. SSCA has been available exclusively for our donors. But today, we're releasing the first episode for everyone!:
