All-new YUKO SHIMIZU original art drops tomorrow, Thursday August 6th, at 9AM PDT/12PM EDT! Covers, illustrations, sketches!

For the first time in 2020, we are excited to be able to offer more of Yuko's singular work to collectors. Yuko joined us last year, and fans responded by making her first two drops sell-outs. Including her second drop, which featured all the art from the Criterion Collection definitive GODZILLA box set. We were able to achieve record results for this art; and a year later, we can say for certain that it was all well-bought. That Criterion set (their landmark 1000th release) has been amongst their highest-grossing sets ever, and the artwork has become iconic to Godzilla fans and collectors. Box art like Yuko's (and Paul Pope's LONE WOLF AND CUB earlier) are the new movie poster art for the 21st century.

Included in tomorrow's drop will be a stunning array of covers and illustrations, featuring work from comics as well as international publications. We will also have a selection of sketches, starting at $80! As always, we endeavor to make art available for all budgets, even from legendary illustrators like Yuko. Widely admired by her artist peers, a Society of Illustrators Gold Medal winner, and one of the most sought-after illustrators working today...we wish everyone the best of luck in adding a Yuko Shimizu original to their collections tomorrow!
